This ad is very appealing to males, because it has two things all men like, sports and women, on the same page. The overall effect of this ad is to first stare at the woman, see the comment "Still staring?", laugh it off, and then finally see the chips and that they support Gaelic Football. Gaelic football fans will now be attracted to these chips, and so will many other men who see this add.
