Interview with Aeneas

TIME MAGAZINE

Q- How did Laocoon and his sons die?
A- He upset Athena, so she sent down serpents that consumed his sons and suffocated him.

Q- Do you believe Priam met his fate?
A-Priam's death was a brutal one but he was the king and was meant to die while Troy was destroyed.

Q-Do you think it was your fate to be the one to find a new land for your people?
A- Yes, because Hector came to me in my dreams and told me to get our people to a new land and start new lives. My wife's ghost also told me the same.

Q- Did you restrain from killing Helen because of a God?
A-Yes my mother, Venus stopped me from killing her.

Q-Could Troy have been saved if people listened to Cassandra?
A-Yes, but because of fate and the curse put on her by a God, no one will ever believe her.

Q- What were the two signs that persuaded your father to leave his home?
A- The two divine signs were the small flame that appeared above my son's head and the crack of thunder outside along with a falling star. These signs were sent by the Gods to save my family and let them live according to their fate.

Q- Where did you see your wife for the last time?
A- I saw my wife's ghost on the shore after we got out of troy.

POV Cassandra and Helen

Haiku- Cassandra

I look and see him
Dead as can be, laying there still
I think to myself
I told all, this would happen
But no one believed

Now Hector is dead
And Troy will be the same soon
But all these problems
Would not have happened
If you listened to me.

Hint Fiction- Helen

His body is on the back of the chariot. His death will put us all women into slavery but not me.
